Working together to help YOU create the life you want to live

Life Coaching

While there might be some things about your life that are okay (maybe even great), you know that something isn’t quite right.

You might not know exactly what’s wrong, or maybe you’ve got some ideas. Either way, coaching can help you gain the clarity and confidence you need to live well.

What is life coaching and why is it important?

Life coaching is about helping YOU achieve success. But not just any sort of success! This is about real success. The difference? Well “real success” is when how you live supports who you are and aligns with what you value.

And because no two people are the same, life coaching is, well, personalised.

It’s about going deep so you’ve got the clarity and confidence to say “This is who I am, this is what I value, and this is how I want to live”.

Without that, you’ll keep getting pushed and pulled by the expectations of others. You’ll do lots but won’t feel any more fulfilled. And you’ll probably feel an almost constant sense of pressure and stress.

Time for change? Time to live your life well and feel more fulfilled?

Who is life coaching for?

Life coaching isn’t for everyone. For some, it’ll be too confronting and they simply aren’t ready for it.

So how do you know if it’s right for you?

First up, if you’re thinking or feeling one or more of these things …

  • You’re sick and tired of being stretched and stressed. Because you know there has to be a better way to live and work! Too much of your time, effort, and energy is going into *things* that don’t feel right to you.

  • You’ve got a mission, a purpose, a calling, something within you that YOU know you have to commit to. But it’s scary! Will people laugh or doubt you when you say what you want to do? Are you good enough?

  • You appear to be successful but you feel like a round peg in a square hole! Yeah sure you have a good job, money in the bank, family and friends, and so on but it feels hollow. You know something is missing.

Okay, so even if you said yes to one or more of those things, you still might not be ready. If you say a resounding YES to any or all of these statements, let’s talk!

  • Staying where you are is NO LONGER an option because you don’t want to have regrets. You don’t know exactly what you want but you know it isn’t what you’re experiencing now!

  • You can’t remember the last time you were happy and it’s affecting you and the people you love and care about. You know it’s time to get clear about what matters to you but aren’t sure how!

  • Your health is being sacrificed and you’re seeing early warning signs OR you’ve already been given a serious health diagnosis. You want to get clarity about who you are and what you value, now!

How does life coaching happen?

Coaching sessions are structured, purposeful conversations about YOU.

Typically done online, these sessions are tailor-made for you. There’s no cookie-cutter, broad-brush approach here!

We start by understanding where you’re at and where you want to be. As part of that work, we’ll hone in on the issues you’re facing as well as any opportunities available to you. This work forms the basis of our sessions going forward.

Depending on what we’ll be doing, the best coaching approach might be:

  • Fortnightly sessions over 3 months

  • Monthly sessions over a year

  • A half or full-day in-person session

Or some variation or other option. (I’ll be able to advise you on the best option once we’ve talked).

Will you learn new skills?

Absolutely 100% yes!

You’ll learn more about the power of your mind. And 3 of the other most common areas we delve into are planning, leadership (of self and others), and communication.

While those 3 areas are typically associated with business, don’t be fooled! They’re incredibly important in all areas of life.

What could you gain from life coaching?

The possibilities are endless. But here are some of the changes and benefits you could experience:

  • Clarity about your dreams and goals in life and business (finally!)

  • The confidence to say who you are and what you want (typically this leads to less stress, yes!)

  • Having a greater sense of purpose and direction (say “goodbye” to feeling uncertain and full of doubt!).

  • Clarity about what’s important and the confidence to say Yes or No when something comes along (great for cutting through the clutter created by demands, deadlines, distractions and a never-ending To Do list!).

  • Understanding yourself better than ever so you’re a more present and attentive partner, parent, friend, leader and so much more!

  • Creating a healthy life-work balance that’s beneficial not just to you but to the people you work with, clients/customers, family, and friends.

  • A business model that works for you! And that’s likely to mean it’s simpler, and you feel more focused, you’re more productive and your business is more profitable too.

Get in touch today. I’ll ask you a few questions to see if we might be a good fit to work together. If we are, we’ll go from there and get your live well journey underway.
