Here’s to living well in 2024!

Hello there, you’re in the right place to find out more about using your Live Well Life Planner.

The Planner is a practical guide to help you consciously and confidently create the life you want to live. Because you deserve to live well. Today. Every day.

But so often we end up being pushed and pulled by demands, deadlines, and distractions. We get weighed down by expectations and shoulds, and held back by doubts, worries, and fears.

That’s frustrating, right?

Well, no more!

You’ve got the Live Well Life Planner in your hands so that means you’ve said YES to you and YES to living well.

The best time to live well is now

If there's one thing I've learnt (the hard way!) it's this… life is precious and the best time to live it well is now. Leaving your ‘best’ life to somewhere in the future is a risky move and it’s a shame.

Why risky? Well you just don’t know what’s going to happen between now and then. And as I said I learnt that the hard way thanks to two significant health scares when both times, dying was mentioned *gulp*

And as for it being a shame – life doesn’t come with a do-over clause. Today, this moment now, won’t ever come along again and it seems crazy to not live it well, right?

This Planner and the Life By Design program (if you signed up to do that too) incorporate the exact method I've personally used for decades and taught to 1000s of people over the past 10 years.

Both the Planner and Life By Design are designed to help you gain clarity about who you are, what you value, and your dreams and goals, and to feel more confident about making decisions and taking action.

Using the Planner

The Planner is a powerful tool BUT like any tool, how well it works will depend on how you use it.

If it’s left sitting in a cupboard or on a shelf, it won’t be of much help at all (except to take up space and collect dust!)

But if you commit to using it - to working through the pages and prompts with kindness, curiosity and honesty - the impact could be life-transforming.

Planner sections

There are 3 main sections in the Planner:

  1. Farewelling 2023

  2. Resetting for 2024

  3. Planning for 2024

In the information below, I guide you through each bit.

Farewelling 2023

It’s common for people to dive straight into the new year without giving the year that’s been a second thought. But, in the long run, that’s not helpful because you’ll overlook information and insights that could be really useful!

To wrap up the year, use these 3 key steps:

  • Review

Identify what went well and what didn’t go well throughout the year.

  • Reflect

Pinpoint the lessons you learnt (these are gold nuggets when it comes to living well!) and what you’re grateful for.

  • Release

Identify what it’s time to let go so you make space for the new year ahead.

Once you’ve worked through those steps, think about whether there’s anything else you’d like to do to close out the year. You might choose to burn the list of what it’s time to let go of, say a prayer or karakia, head to your favourite spot (for me it would be up a mountain or on the beach), and imagine letting go of the year, or whatever it is that feels right to you.

Reset for 2024

Keen to jump straight in, grab some goals and start taking action? Whoa up a moment. I highly recommend you pause and answer these important questions first!

In this section of the Planner, there are a range of pages and prompts for you to work through, including:

  • Who I am! - connecting with who you are, what you value, and your mission.

  • How I want to show up - the energy you’ll bring, the strengths you’ll leverage and the qualities you’ll embody.

  • Dreams, hopes and wishes - your biggest dream, what you’d most like to do in 2024 and your theme for the year.

  • Keep, stop and start - a powerful 3-element tool to help you get clarity about what you’ll do, think and say.

  • Living well - writing, in detail, about how you want the year to be (don’t skimp or skip over this, it’s important!)

  • My “to be done” list - the things you commit to doing in the year ahead.

  • What I’d like to give - this one will get you thinking! Check out the description on the page in your Planner.

  • What I’d like to have - big, small or anything in between, this is an opportunity to list what you want.

  • Self-care - key daily habits, important boundaries, self-care practices and empowering beliefs, so good!

Planning for 2024

Goals and Priorities

From everything you’ve written in your Planner so far, choose your goals and priorities for the year.

2024, the full view!

There’s a handy 12-month calendar and over the page is 2024 at a glance where you can add in personal and business milestones, projects, activities, holidays, or whatever else is important to you. It's a great way to see, at a glance, what the year is looking like.

2024, month by month

Every month, you'll see the same sequence of pages and prompts, including:

  • An inspirational phrase for the month.

  • A calendar for the month with space for things to be done and any notes.

  • Monthly reset page where you can write your intention, goals and priorities. Plus the habits and boundaries that will be useful for you to focus on, and space for a quote or phrase that will guide and support you during the month.

  • Weekly planning & wrap-up pages so you can map out what you’ll give your attention, energy and focus to each week and each day. And then, at the end of the week, wrap up how it went.

  • Monthly Review, Reflect and Release pages to review how the month went. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate your achievements, identify lessons learnt, tune into what you’re grateful for, and let go of anything you no longer need.

Check out the video below for more information about resetting for the new year.

Live Well tip:

As with anything new, it may feel uncomfortable or hard to start with. Trust that as you become more familiar with the process, it'll become easier.

And in case you're thinking this is going to take hours or days to do, it won't. (or at least, it doesn’t have to)

It'll take as long as you allow it to take. Got 5 minutes to do your monthly reset, then take 5 minutes. Got an hour, then take an hour.

Just start!

How to get started

The key to getting started is to commit to doing the work (because you know it’s going to help you start the new year well!) and then decide how you’re going to approach doing it. Because there are options! Like:

  • You could chunk the yearly planning work into bite-sized pieces and dedicate time over a few weeks.

  • You could book out a day or two and work through all the front pages at once.

  • Or a mix of the two options (or something else entirely!)

As always, do what feels right for you.

Okay, ready to do this? (and even if you think you aren’t, my bet is you are more ready than you realise!)

Go well in the year ahead,

- Tracey x
