Life coaching across New Zealand

Looking for a life coach in New Zealand?

I'm Tracey Hancock. For over 20 years I've helped people reconnect with themselves and live their real life. Coaching runs online nationwide, and in person across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty.

What a life coach actually does

Life coaching is about helping you achieve success. But not just any success, real success. That means living in a way that supports who you are and aligns with what you value, rather than doing what you think you should.

Since no two people are the same, coaching is deeply personal. It is about uncovering what matters to you so you can confidently say: this is who I am, this is what I value, and this is how I want to live.

Without that clarity you react to whatever comes along and feel pushed and pulled by life. You will be busy, but not fulfilled.

Coaching is not right for everyone. For some people it is too confronting, and that is genuinely fine. The honest way to find out is a good-fit call.

Choosing a life coach: common questions

Do I need to live near you to work with you?
No. Coaching sessions are usually online, so I work with people right across New Zealand. In-person sessions are available in Te Awamutu, Hamilton, Cambridge and Tauranga.
What is the difference between a life coach and a therapist?
A therapist generally works with you on healing what has happened. A coach works with you on deciding what happens next and doing it. If what you need is therapy, I will say so rather than take you on.
How much does a life coach cost in New Zealand?
It varies widely. My Vision & Planning Day is $2,997 plus GST for a full private day. The REAL membership is $297 for a year of monthly group sessions. Ongoing 1:1 coaching is priced after we have talked, because the shape depends on what you are working on.
How do I choose the right life coach?
Talk to a few. Ask what their approach actually is, and notice whether they are curious about you or waiting to pitch. A good coach should be willing to tell you when they are not the right fit.

Not sure if coaching is what you need?

That is a good reason to talk rather than a reason not to. Tell me where you are at and I will tell you honestly what I think would help.
