Before dropping 2018 from memory there's ONE thing you really need to do

The 1st of January is just like any other day of the year, it's a date and this year it happened to be a Tuesday. But we all know there's something a little bit special about this date!

It, of course, marks the end of one year and the start of a new one. And there's something magical about new starts, isn't there?

Why the 1st January matters

No matter what's happened in the year before, the 1st of January heralds the start of something new. A chance to clear the slate and make a fresh start. But before you wipe away 2018, I want to ask if you've had a chance to review and reflect on the year that's been?

Because I've heard a lot of people saying and posting on social media that they can't wait for it to be gone. They're keen to drop it from memory like a hot potato.

Now, if there's one thing I know for sure, life will always have ups and downs, highs and lows, easy times and challenges. And some years are definitely tougher than others, I know what it's like because I have them too!

What you can gain by reviewing + reflecting on the past

But you know what? In those tough years, there'll be lessons and much to be grateful for. They're also the years in which we can grow the most. So, as I said, before wiping the slate clean of 2018, be sure to get the learnings and notice how much you've grown. You might be surprised.
