Success tip # 4 - keep your goals visible

If you write your goals on a piece of paper and then it never (or rarely) sees the light of day you will not achieve them. Seeing and reading your goals, focusing intently on them every day is the key to success. Creating a vision board is an effective visual-way to display your goals.

A vision board is a collage of images, pictures, phrases, words or items that represent you, the life you want to live, or your goals.

The board is a tangible representation of your vision of the future. It should inspire and motivate you to work towards achieving your goals.

I highly recommend creating a vision board for the ideal life you wrote about in Module 2 and for your goals. Sometimes I create a vision board for each goal, while other times I put all of the goals onto one board.

You could create a vision board with a particular theme like your birthday party, next holiday or dream house. It's up to you. There's no right or wrong, just do what feels right for you.

Create a vision board (also sometimes called a dream board, treasure map or vision map). Click here for more information about vision boards – how to create one and how to use it.
